A quick and easy chowder recipe with tofu and French bread.

    garlic

    bay leaf

    thyme
  • 2tsp
    olive oil
  • 1tsp
    lemon juice
  • 10oz
    tomato soup
  • 1cup
    chicken broth
  • 2cups
    fried sliced tofu
  • 4
    slices French bread

How to make QUICK CHOWDER

  1. Cook garlic, onion, bay leaf, and thyme in oil until tender.

  2. Add the sliced tofu, chicken broth, lemon juice, and tomato soup.

  3. Bring to a boil, cover, and let simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Ladle over toast in soup bowls.

Tips & Tricks

  1. For a richer flavor, use olive oil instead of corn oil.

  2. You can add more thyme if you prefer a stronger herb flavor.
