Ingredients

- 2piecebell pepper
- 1bulb garlic
- 1pieceginger- thumbnail size (optional)
- 1bunch fresh coriander or basil (optional)
How to make The All-purpose Sauce Cube: Tomato, Onion, Bell Pepper, and Garlic Base Sauce
Dice the tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers into medium-sized pieces.
Place the chopped vegetables, whole garlic cloves, and ginger on a baking tray in a single layer.
Roast the vegetables in the oven at 220°C for 20-25 minutes until they are soft and slightly charred.
Let the roasted vegetables cool, then blend them into a smooth sauce.
Pour the blended sauce into silicone trays or ice cube molds for portioning.
Freeze the sauce cubes. Store the cubes in the deep freezer for up to a month.
Tips & Tricks
Thaw a portion of sauce in a microwave-safe mug or defrost it in a pan on low heat.
Add your preferred spices and follow your recipe when using the sauce for specific dishes.
