In a bowl, add thick curd and whisk for 2 minutes until it reaches a creamy consistency.
Add chopped onion, tomato, coriander leaves, salt, roasted cumin powder, and chopped green chilli. Mix everything well until combined.
Pour enough water (about 1/2 cup) and mix well.
Serve the easy Onion tomato raita with pulao, bagar rice, or any meal combo.
Tips & Tricks
Avoid making raita too far in advance as the onions and tomatoes may release water, altering the texture.
To enhance the freshness, keep the raita chilled in the fridge for 10-15 minutes before serving.
