- 1cupwater
- 1 1/2tbspunsalted butter
- 1tbspgranulated sugar
- 1cupall-purpose flour
- oil for frying
- For Coating
- 1/4cupgranulated sugar
- 1/2tspground cinnamon
How to make Eggless Churros Recipe !
Prepare the Dough
In a medium saucepan, combine water, butter, and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Once boiling, switch off the flame and add the flour all at once. Stir vigorously until the mixture forms a ball. This should take about 1 minute.
Let the dough cool slightly, about 5-10 minutes.
Fry the Churros
Heat oil in a large, deep skillet or pot over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip (or use a churro maker).
Carefully pipe the dough directly into the hot oil to your desired size, using scissors or a knife to cut them.
Fry until golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Coat the Churros
Combine the remaining sugar and cinnamon.
While the churros are still warm, roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until evenly coated.
Serve
Serve warm and enjoy your eggless churros plain or with chocolate sauce, Nutella, caramel sauce, or any dipping sauce of your choice.
Tips & Tricks
Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to the coating mixture according to your preference.
