Spicy Goat Meat Pepper Soup
A flavorful and spicy goat meat pepper soup, perfect for a hearty meal.
Ingredients
- 1kggoat meat
- 5piecered bell pepper
- 3pieceyellow pepper
- 1piecegreen pepper
- 1pieceonion
- 2tbspfresh ginger
- 2tbsppowdered garlic
- 2tbsppowdered curry
- 3pieceKnorr seasoning cubes
- 1/2tspsalt
- 1tspground uziza seeds
- 1/2cupcrayfish
- 1bundlebasil leaves (scent leaf)
How to make Spicy Goat Meat Pepper Soup
Wash the goat meat properly and cut it into small chewable chunks.
Put the meat into a pot and add water to cover the meat. Cover and cook for 25 minutes on high heat.
Blend the peppers, ginger, and crayfish together and set aside.
Grind the uziza seeds using a grinder or a mortar and pestle.
Chop the onion and scent leaf.
After 25 minutes, check on the meat and add the pepper mix, chopped onions, uziza seeds, salt, and 2 Knorr seasoning cubes. Mix everything together.
Add water if needed and cover to cook for another 15 minutes.
Using a fork, check if the meat is tender and adjust seasoning if necessary. If the meat is not yet tender, cover and cook until tender.
Once the meat is tender and the taste is to your liking, add the scent leaf, mix together, and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
Turn off the heat. Your delicious spicy goat meat pepper soup is ready to serve. Enjoy alone or pair with white rice.
