Ingredients
- 500gTender spinach leaves
- 2pieceoinons
- 5cloveShelled garlic
- 1tbspSalted butter
- 50gCashew nuts
- Salt to taste
- 1pinchBlack pepper powder
- 1pinchCinnamon powder
- 1tspCream
- 1cupMilk
- 2cupWater
How to make Spinach Soup
Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly in flowing water and chop them .
In a pan add butter and heat it. Add the chopped onions garlic and the cashew nuts and stir fry for 5 mins.
Add the chopped spinach to the pan and stir fry for another 5 mins.
After this mixture cools down add cold milk and grind in the mixer till you get a fine paste.
Add 2 cups of water , salt, pepper and cinnamon powder to your soup mixture and cook on medium flame for 5 mins.
Pour it in the soup bowls and garnish it with cream and pieces of cashew nuts
Enjoy with toast or sandwiches !
Tips & Tricks
Do not cover the lid of the pan while cooking spinach to get the best green colour.
