Ingredients
Raita Base
- 1cupCurd
- 1cupWater
- 1/2tspRed chilli powder
- 1/2tspRoasted cumin powder
- Black salt (to taste)
- Chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2cupBoondi
Tadka
- 1tbspMustard oil
- 1tspCumin seeds
- 1/4tspHing
How to make Tadka Boondi Raita
Prepare the Raita
Whisk together the curd and water in a bowl.
Add red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, and black salt to the mixture.
Mix well and then add the chopped coriander leaves and boondi.
Prepare the Tadka
Heat a small pan and pour in the mustard oil.
Once the oil is hot, add cumin seeds and hing. Let it splutter.
Combine and Serve
Pour the tadka into the raita and cover for 5 minutes.
Refrigerate the raita and serve chilled.
