- 2cupsattu (roasted gram flour)
- 1tbspghee
- 1tspcarom seeds (ajwain)
- 1tspcumin seeds
- 1tspred chili powder
- 1tspsalt
- 1cupwater (for kneading)
How to make Sattu ka Litti
Preparation of the Dough
In a mixing bowl, combine sattu, ghee, carom seeds, cumin seeds, red chili powder, and salt.
Gradually add water and knead to form a smooth dough.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Shaping and Cooking the Litti
Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into balls.
Flatten each ball slightly and make a small indentation in the center.
Heat the appam pan and place the littis in it.
Cook on low heat, turning occasionally until they are golden brown and cooked through.
