How to make Payaj Matar ki Saloni

Preparation

  1. Soak the peas in water for 6-8 hours.

  2. Chop the onions and green chilies.

Cooking

  1. Heat mustard oil in a pan.

  2. Add jeera and let it splutter.

  3. Add chopped onions and green chilies, and sauté until the onions are golden brown.

  4. Add hing, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.

  5. Add the soaked peas and water. Stir to combine.

  6. Cover and cook until the peas are tender.

  7. Add garam masala and sabji masala. Stir and cook for a few more minutes.
