Ingredients

  • 1piece
    onion
  • 1piece
    tomato
  • 2piece
    cashews
  • 2piece
    green chillies
  • 1piece
    cardamom
  • 1clove
    clove
  • 1/2in
    cinnamon stick
  • 200g
    paneer
  • 1dash
    red chilli powder
  • 1dash
    coriander powder
  • 1dash
    garam masala
  • 1cup
    peas (frozen or fresh)
  • 1tbsp
    oil
  • 1tbsp
    fresh cream
  • 1pinch
    salt

How to make Mutter Panner

  1. In a pan, sauté roughly cut onion, tomato, cashews, green chillies, and the whole spices with a little bit of oil.

  2. Cool down the ingredients in the pan and blend them into a smooth paste with a little bit of water.

  3. In a pan, add oil and all the powder spices. Let it cook for a minute on low flame.

  4. Add the blended paste into the pan and cook until the raw smell disappears.

  5. Add peas and let it cook for a few minutes. Add salt.

  6. Add the paneer and finish with garam masala and a bit of fresh cream.

  1. Enjoy it with tandoori roti or a simple chapati.
