  • 250g
    akhrot (walnut) coarsely chopped
  • 2cup
    milk
  • 3/4cup
    sugar
  • 1/2tsp
    Cardamom powder
  • 1cup
    milk powder
  • 3
    walnuts to garnish

How to make Akhrot (Walnut) Halwa

Recipe

    1. Melt ghee in a pan.

  2. 3. Cook on low flame with continuous stirring till light brown.

  4. 5. Cook on medium flame with occasional stirring till milk reduces to 1/4th.

  5. 6. Add sugar. Mix well

  7. 8. Cook till water of sugar dries.

  9. 10. Cook till ghee comes on surface and halwa leaves the pan.

Tips & Tricks

    1. If you like more sugars in desserts, you can add 1 cup sugar.
