Ingredients
Batter
- 3 3/4cupsmashed banana
- 250gMargarine/butter melted
- 1/8cupvegetable oil
- 1 1/2cupssugar
- 1 1/2tspCinnamon
- 1TBP ginger
- 1 1/2tspmixed spices (tea masala)
- pinchsalt
- 4cupsflour
- 3large eggs
- 1 1/2tspbaking soda
- 1/4tspbaking powder
- 3tap vanilla essence
How to make The Banana bread - Cake
Preparation
Preheat oven then Grease and flour a large pan/ baking tin 16"
In a large bowl measure out. All ingredients and mix well or use a food mixer to combine all the ingredients
Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake at 170°C for 60 minor until golden brown and toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.
Cool the cake for 5 mins then turn out onto rack and cooled completely
Cake will be soft and moist. Enjoy!!
Tips & Tricks
Keep the banana a bit chunky when mashing to get texture and enjoy that banana fullness of taste.
