How to make Spinach Salad with Sliced Malta, Walnuts & Feta Cheese
Preparation
Wash the baby spinach leaves and pat dry them.
Meanwhile, take a saucepan and slow-roast walnuts
Wash and peel the orange/malta and evenly separate the carpels or their pieces.
Take a mixing bowl or container, and mix the baby spinach leaves, roasted walnuts and peeled carpels of the orange/malta.
Take a separate small bowl for dressing. Freshly ground the mustard seeds with 2 cloves of garlic. To this add 11/2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar, salt to taste and 1 tbsp of honey. Mix well and keep it aside for 2-4 mins.
Take a serving bowl. Mash 500 gms of feta cheese with your hand to enjoy the lumpy creamy texture of the salad.
Lastly, pick your favourite salad serving bowl and mix everything together. Place in fridge until cool and serve.
