Ingredients
- 2tbspButter
- 1tspCumin seeds
- 1cupSpring onion bulbs
- 5Garlic pods
- 1Boiled potato
- 1inginger
- 1green chilli
- 1cupwarm Water
- 2tbspCream
- pinchof sugar
- pinchof salt
- pinchof mix herbs
- pinchof black pepper powder
- 1cupWater to grind
- Spring onion greens for garnishing

Butter Garlic Soup 🍲
In a pan , heat butter and once the butter melts , toss cumin seeds, spring onion and garlic pods . Then add boiled potato, ginger and green chilli. Toss for a min.
Season this mixture with black pepper powder, salt , sugar and pinch of mix herbs. Add warm water and give it a boil for 2 min. Let it cool down.
Add the contents in the mixie jar with full cream and make a fine smooth paste.
In the same pan , add butter and add the paste . Mix well . Adjust water according to your preferences and give it a boil for 3-4 min. Adjust salt and spices if needed. You can also the mixture to retain its smooth lump free texture
Serve hot in a soup pot and garnish with spring onion greens.
Tips & Tricks
Opt for fresh, firm garlic cloves for the best flavor. Avoid pre-minced garlic, as it lacks the same punch.
While butter is key to the flavor, don't overdo it. Use just enough to enhance the garlic's richness.
For a lighter version, use vegetable or chicken stock. For a creamier version, incorporate milk or cream.
Garlic and butter are strong flavors, so add salt, pepper, and spices incrementally to avoid overpowering the soup.
