Ingredients
- Few Mint leaves
- 1/4cupWater
- 1tspChaat masala
- Ice cubes
- Lemon
- 1/4cupLemon barley concoction
- Any sweetened soda drink
- Mint leaf to garnish
How to make Barley Mint Soda
Wash mint leaves thoroughly. Transfer to the mixie jar and add 1/4th cup water . Blend the leaves and strain to extract mint water.
Freeze the mint water in ice tray . You can store them for 15-20 days.
In a glass , add 3 mint cubes, 3 ice cubes , sprinkle chaat masala. Pour the prepared barley concoction into the glass, filling it halfway. Place a mint leaf.
Top up with chilled soda water and gently stir. Barley mint soda is ready to serve. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a slice of lime. Serve immediately for a refreshing drink.
Tips & Tricks
Use fresh mint leaves for maximum aroma and flavor. Muddle them gently to release their essential oils.
Add soda just before serving to keep the drink bubbly. Chill the soda beforehand to maintain the drink's temperature.
