  • 1cup
    sprouted horse gram
  • 1cup
    water
  • 2piece
    green chilly
  • salt to taste
  • curry leaves
  • 2tbsp
    oil
  • 15piece
    small onion (shallots)
  • 2tsp
    crushed chilly flakes
  • 4tbsp
    grated coconut

How to make Sprouted Horse Gram Stir Fry

Preparation

  1. Put the sprouted horse gram in a pressure cooker along with salt and water.

  2. Cook on medium flame for 2 whistles.

  3. Switch off the flame and set aside until the pressure is completely gone.

  4. Heat a kadai and pour in the oil.

  5. When the oil becomes hot, add curry leaves and finely chopped green chilly.

  6. Add chopped shallots and sauté well.

  7. Add crushed chilly flakes. You can also add garlic to avoid gastric problems.

  8. Sauté for 2-3 minutes on medium flame, then add grated coconut. Mix well until the raw taste of coconut goes.

  9. Add the cooked horse gram and mix well.

  10. If there is any water, dry it up.

  11. Switch off the flame. The stir fry is ready to serve.
