This is a popular South Indian flavorful rice recipe. It is an easy-to-make one-pot dish.

Ingredients
- 2cupsJeera rice
- 2pieceOnion
- 2pieceTomato
- 2tbspGinger garlic paste
- 2inCinnamon
- 5cloveClove
- 3pieceCardamom
- 1tspFennel seeds
- 2tbspSunflower oil
- 2tbspGhee
- 3cupsWater
- 3tbspCoriander leaves
- Salt to taste
How to make One Pot Delicious Ghee Rice
Wash the rice and let it soak for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, drain out the water.
Put a pressure cooker on the stove and heat oil and ghee.
Add the spices and sliced onion. Sauté until the onion becomes light brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw taste is gone.
Add chopped tomato and sauté for 1 minute.
Add 3 cups of water along with salt. When it starts bubbling, add rice and coriander leaves.
Let it boil for 3 minutes on high flame.
Close the lid (remove the whistle from the pressure cooker lid) and turn the flame to low.
After 12 minutes, turn off the flame. Open the lid and mix well.
Tips & Tricks
Ensure the ginger-garlic paste is well sautéed to remove the raw taste.
Adjust the salt according to your taste preference.
