  • 1/2kg
    raw peanuts
  • 5tbsp
    chickpea flour
  • 1tbsp
    rice flour
  • 1 1/2tsp
    chilly powder
  • 1tsp
    Kashmiri chilly powder
  • 1/4tsp
    asafoetida powder
  • 1 1/2tsp
    fennel seeds
  • 10clove
    garlic
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying
  • 4sprig
    curry leaves

How to make Masala Peanuts

  1. Wash the peanuts and strain them.

  2. In a bowl, add chickpea flour, rice flour, chilly powder, Kashmiri chilly powder, crushed fennel seeds, crushed garlic, and salt. Make a thick paste.

  3. Add the washed peanuts to the paste and mix well.

  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the peanuts and stir continuously for 1 minute.

  5. When the peanuts start to crack slightly, remove them from the oil.

  6. Turn off the heat and add curry leaves to the oil. Remove them and add to the fried peanuts. Mix well.

  7. Once completely cooled, store the peanuts in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
