FAQS

  1. How can I make eggless custard cookies without butter?

If you're looking to make eggless custard cookies without butter, you can substitute the unsalted butter with an equal amount of coconut oil or a vegan butter alternative. This will keep the cookies moist and maintain their chewy texture.

  2. What is the best way to store custard cookies for freshness?

To keep your custard cookies fresh, store them in an airtight container at room temperature. They can last for up to a week. If you want to keep them longer, consider freezing them in a freezer-safe bag for up to three months.

  3. Can I use different flavors of custard powder in this cookie recipe?

Absolutely! You can experiment with different flavors of custard powder, such as vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry, to give your custard cookies a unique twist. Just make sure to adjust the sugar if the custard powder is sweetened.

  4. What can I pair with custard cookies for a delightful dessert platter?

Custard cookies pair wonderfully with a cup of tea or coffee. For a dessert platter, consider serving them alongside fresh fruit, chocolate sauce for dipping, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream to enhance the experience.

  5. How do I know when my custard cookies are done baking?

Your custard cookies are done baking when they are lightly golden around the edges and firm to the touch. They may appear soft in the center but will firm up as they cool. Keep an eye on them after about 8 minutes to avoid overbaking.
