Custard Cookies recipe

Ingredients

12 Servings
(1 serving = 1 cookie)
  • 50g
    unsalted butter
  • 3 1/2tbsp
    sugar
  • 2piece
    cardamom
  • 1/2cup
    all-purpose flour
  • 3 1/2tbsp
    custard powder
  • 2tbsp
    milk

How to make Custard Cookies

  1. Add sugar and cardamom to a mixer jar. Grind to a fine powder.

  2. Cream the butter, ensuring it is at room temperature.

  3. Beat the butter with the powdered sugar and cardamom until it becomes soft and light in color.

  4. Add all-purpose flour and custard powder to the mixture. Mix well.

  5. Add milk at room temperature and mix well.

  6. Transfer the dough to a piping bag.

  7. Prepare a baking tray with butter paper and drop the dough onto it one by one.

  8. Garnish each cookie with a cherry in the middle.

  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10 minutes.

  10. Custard cookies are ready to serve.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the butter is at room temperature for easier creaming.

  2. Use a piping bag for uniform cookie shapes.
