Ingredients

2 Servings
(1 serving = 1/4 cup)
  • 1/2cup
    corn
  • 2tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 2tbsp
    corn flour
  • 1/2tsp
    pepper powder
  • 1 1/2tbsp
    chilli paste
  • 1tbsp
    honey
  • 2tbsp
    tomato sauce
  • 1tbsp
    finely chopped garlic
  • 2tbsp
    finely chopped onion
  • 1/2piece
    egg
  • oil for frying
  • salt to taste

How to make Crispy Corn

  1. In a bowl, add corn, 1 tbsp all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp corn flour, half an egg (both white and yolk), 1/4 tsp salt, and pepper.

  2. Mix well.

  3. Add the remaining all-purpose flour and corn flour to remove the stickiness.

  4. Heat oil in a pan.

  5. Add the corn mixture and fry until it becomes half-cooked.

  6. Remove from oil and set aside.

  7. In a separate pan, add 1 tbsp of oil.

  8. Add garlic and onion, sauté until light brown.

  9. Add chilli paste and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

  10. Add a pinch of salt, tomato sauce, and honey. Mix well.

  11. Double fry the corn to achieve crispness.

  12. Add the fried corn to the honey tomato sauce mixture and mix well.
