  • 1kg
    chicken drumsticks

Marinade

  • 1tsp
    peri peri masala
  • 1tsp
    alipoor roast masala
  • 2tbsp
    oil
  • 2tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1tsp
    lemon pepper
  • 1tsp
    paprika
  • 1tsp
    coriander powder
  • 1tsp
    cumin powder
  • 1pinch
    turmeric
  • 2tbsp
    mayonnaise
  • 2tbsp
    chilli sauce
  • salt to taste

Coating

  • cake flour
  • egg
  • breadcrumbs
  • oil for frying

How to make Crumbed Chicken Drumsticks

Preparation

  1. Wash and drain the chicken drumsticks.

Marinating

  1. In a bowl, combine peri peri masala, alipoor roast masala, oil, lemon juice, lemon pepper, paprika, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric, mayonnaise, chilli sauce, and salt.

  2. Marinate the chicken drumsticks with the mixture.

Cooking

  1. Cook the marinated chicken drumsticks on low heat until done. Do not let them dry out.

  2. Allow the chicken to cool.

Coating and Frying

  1. Coat the cooled chicken drumsticks in cake flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

  2. Fry the coated drumsticks in medium hot oil until golden brown.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the oil is at the right temperature before frying to achieve a crispy coating.

  2. Do not overcrowd the pan while frying to maintain the oil temperature.
