  • 2cup
    flour
  • 1 1/2cup
    sugar
  • 3piece
    eggs
  • 1cup
    buttermilk
  • 1/2cup
    oil
  • 1/4cup
    cocoa powder
  • 1tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2cup
    Greek yogurt
  • 2tbsp
    red velvet color
  • 1tsp
    strawberry or vanilla flavor
  • 1pinch
    salt

How to make Red Velvet Cake

  1. Mix the eggs alone for 4 minutes.

  2. Add sugar to the eggs and mix for 3 minutes.

  3. Add the flavor to the mixture.

  4. Mix the red velvet color into the buttermilk.

  5. Sieve all dry ingredients into a bowl.

  6. Alternate adding dry ingredients and red buttermilk in 3 batches, mixing with a mixer until combined.

  7. Fold in the Greek yogurt last.
