    chicken pieces
  • 1tsp
    ginger paste
  • 1tsp
    garlic paste
  • 1tsp
    Kashmiri chilli
  • 1/4tsp
    turmeric powder
  • 1/2tsp
    pepper powder
  • salt (as required)

For Cooking

  • 1piece
    medium-sized onion
  • 3piece
    green chilli (sliced)
  • 1tsp
    ginger (sliced)
  • 1tsp
    garlic (sliced)
  • 1tsp
    crushed chilli (less spicy)
  • 1/2tsp
    coriander powder
  • 1/4tsp
    fennel seed powder
  • 1/4tsp
    jaggery
  • 3sprig
    curry leaves
  • 3tbsp
    coconut oil

How to make Spicy Fried Chicken

Marination

  1. Mix chicken pieces with ginger paste, garlic paste, Kashmiri chilli, turmeric powder, pepper powder, and salt.

  2. Marinate for 1 hour.

Cooking

  1. Fry the marinated chicken and strain the oil.

  2. In a pan, add 2 tsp of the oil used for frying the chicken.

  3. When the oil is hot, add sliced onions, green chilli, ginger, and garlic. Sauté well.

  4. Add crushed chilli and sauté.

  5. Add coriander powder, fennel seed powder, jaggery, and two pinches of salt. Sauté well.

  6. Add fried chicken and curry leaves. Mix well.

  7. Serve the chicken fry hot.
