How to make Easy Biryani
Preparation
Boil 4 cups of water in a pan.
Cooking
Heat a pressure cooker on medium flame. Add sunflower oil and fry the sliced onion, nuts, and raisins. Set aside.
Pour the ghee into the remaining oil. Sauté cinnamon, clove, star anise, sha jeera, and cardamom.
Add ginger and garlic paste. Then add strained rice and turmeric. Sauté for 5 minutes on medium flame.
Add boiled water and stir. Cover the lid and wait for 1 whistle. Turn off the heat and allow the pressure to release completely.
Open the lid and transfer the rice into a bowl. Add the fried onion, nuts, and raisins on top of the rice.
Tips & Tricks
Ensure the pressure is fully released before opening the cooker to avoid any accidents.
Adjust the quantity of nuts and raisins according to your preference.
