How to make Crispy Garlic Parmesan Brussels Sprouts

Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

Prepare the Brussels Sprouts

  1. Cut brussel sprouts in halves or quarters. I chose quarters because I am picky and think that brussel sprouts are often undercooked.

Step 2.1: Cut brussel sprouts in halves or quarters
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and chili flakes (if using). Ensure they are well coated.

Step 2.1: In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and chili flakes (if using)

Arrange on the Baking Sheet

  1. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the baking sheet, cut side down. This helps them caramelize and get crispy.

Step 3.1: Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the baking sheet, cut side down

Roast the Brussels Sprouts

  1. Roast in the oven for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even cooking. They should be golden brown and crispy on the edges.

Tips & Tricks

  1. For extra flavor, drizzle with balsamic vinegar before serving.

  2. You can always add more parmesan cheese half way through cooking for extra cheesey crispness!
