- 2piececarrots, peeled, quartered, and sliced
- 4cupschicken bone broth
- 3cantomato sauce (8-ounce each)
- 1/2cupuncooked long-grain rice
- 1piecebay leaf
- 3tbspbrown sugar
- 2tbspsoy sauce
- 1/4tspred pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2tspgarlic powder
How to make Cabbage Roll in a Bowl Soup
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add ground turkey, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until browned or about 5-6 minutes.
Add the chopped cabbage, carrots, broth, tomato sauce, and spices to the pot (everything in the recipe is in the pot).
Add the chopped cabbage and carrots to the pot, stirring to combine.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the vegetables are tender.
Remove the bay leaf before serving.
