Pineapple Chicken Wings recipe

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2lb
    chicken wings
  • 1/2cup
    pineapple juice
  • 1/4cup
    soy sauce
  • 1/4cup
    brown sugar
  • 2tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1tbsp
    grated ginger
  • 1tsp
    sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4cup
    pineapple slice

Pineapple Glaze

  • 1/2cup
    pineapple juice
  • 1/4cup
    honey
  • 2tbsp
    soy sauce

How to make Pineapple Chicken Wings

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.

  3. Add chicken wings and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Cooking

  1. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with vegetable oil.

  2. Remove wings from marinade, letting excess liquid drip off.

  3. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until cooked through.

  4. While wings bake, prepare the pineapple glaze.

  5. After 30 minutes, brush wings with pineapple glaze and return to oven for an additional 5-10 minutes.

  6. Garnish with pineapple slice and serve immediately.

Pineapple Glaze

  1. Combine pineapple juice, honey, and soy sauce in a saucepan.

  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until thickened.
