Delicious and moist cupcakes with chunks of Oreo cookies, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 8pieceOreos, crushed or roughly chopped
- 1 1/2cupflour
- 1/2tspbaking soda
- 1/2tspbaking powder
- 1pinchsalt
- 1/4cupbutter
- 1/4cupoil
- 1/2cupsugar
- 2pieceeggs
- 1tspvanilla essence
- 1/2tspvinegar
- 3/4cupbuttermilk
How to make Oreo Cupcakes
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Line a cupcake tray with paper cup liners.
Sieve all the dry ingredients together and set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and oil until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, then add vanilla essence, vinegar, and buttermilk. Mix together.
Fold in the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
Lastly, add Oreos and mix. Do not overmix.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Tips & Tricks
Ensure the butter is at room temperature for easier creaming.
Do not overmix the batter after adding the dry ingredients to keep the cupcakes light and fluffy.
