A crunchy and tasty snack made from garri, flavored with milk, sugar, and suya pepper.
Ingredients
- 2cupgarri
- 1cupmilk
- 3tbspsugar
- 1tbspsuya pepper
- 2tbspvegetable oil
- 1cuphot water
- 2tbspbutter
How to make Garri Chips
In a bowl, pour in the garri.
Add milk and sugar to the garri.
Add suya pepper( you can go through my other recipes to find out how to make suya pepper) and add little vegetable oil.
Pour in hot water and cover for a minute.
Stir the mixture together.
Add butter and stir very well.
Scoop out the mixture and place it on parchment paper.
Cover with another paper and flatten using a rolling pin.
Cut into different sizes and shapes.
Fry in a pan of hot vegetable oil until golden brown.
Tips & Tricks
Ensure the oil is hot enough before frying to achieve a crunchy texture.
