  • 1 1/2cups
    all-purpose flour
  • 1tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2tsp
    baking soda

    salt
  • 1/4cup
    unsalted butter, melted
  • 1cup
    granulated sugar
  • 2piece
    large eggs
  • 1tsp
    vanilla extract
  • Optional: nuts (walnuts or pecans), chocolate chips, or dried fruit

How to make Delicious Banana Bread

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

  2. Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt) in a bowl.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.

  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

  5. Fold in optional ingredients (nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruit), if using.

  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  8. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
