Bang Bang Shrimp recipe

Ingredients

For Shrimp

  • 2cup
    panko bread crumbs
  • 2tbsp
    extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1tsp
    garlic powder
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2
    large eggs
  • 1cup
    all-purpose flour
  • 1lb
    raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Freshly chopped cilantro, for garnish

For Bang Bang Sauce

  • 4tbsp
    mayonnaise
  • 4tbsp
    sweet chili sauce
  • 2tbsp
    sriracha
  • 2
    Juice of limes
  • 2tsp
    honey
  • Kosher salt

How to make Bang Bang Shrimp

Prepare Shrimp

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a shallow bowl, stir together bread crumbs, oil, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. In another shallow bowl, whisk eggs. Put flour in a third bowl.

  4. Using tongs, dip shrimp first in flour, then egg, then panko mixture. Transfer to prepared baking sheet.

  5. Continue until all shrimp are coated.

  6. Bake until shrimp are crispy and golden, 13 to 15 minutes.

Make Bang Bang Sauce

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, lime juice, and honey. Season with salt.

  2. Drizzle Bang Bang Sauce over shrimp and garnish with cilantro before serving.
