How to make KFC Chicken Fry
Mix the chicken with the ingredients under marination and marinate overnight in the fridge (do not freeze).
The next day, mix all the ingredients under powdered masala and keep aside.
Mix the eggs and milk and keep aside.
Heat the oil in a wide-based kadai. Meanwhile, take out the chicken from the fridge half an hour before frying.
Take the pieces and coat the chicken with the powdered masala, dip in egg mix, and coat again in powdered masala. Shake off excess powder.
Fry the chicken in medium heat. Keep the kadai covered while the chicken is frying. Fry the chicken for around 15 minutes, 7 to 8 minutes on each side.
Tips & Tricks
Ensure the oil is at the right temperature before frying to achieve a crispy coating.
Do not overcrowd the kadai while frying the chicken to ensure even cooking.
