(1 serving = 3 patties- the servings depend on size of patty)
  • 1/2kg
    chicken breast
  • 3/4cup
    grated cheese
  • 1piece
    bread slice
  • 1
    egg
  • 2piece
    green chillies
  • 1/2tsp
    cumin powder
  • 1/2tsp
    chilli flakes
  • 1/2tsp
    oregano/mixed herbs
  • 1/2tsp
    grated ginger
  • 1dash
    chopped coriander
  • 1dash
    salt

How to make Best Homemade Chicken Patties

  1. In a food processor or chopper, blend all ingredients together until the mixture comes together.

  2. If the mixture is too wet or doesn't bind together mix in a tablespoon of cornflour.

  3. Divide and shape the mixture into patties.

  4. Optionally, coat the patties with an egg dip and breadcrumbs for a crispy exterior.

  5. Shallow fry the patties in a cast iron pan.

Tips & Tricks

  1. This is an original recipe. It is infused with flavours inspired from Indian, Mexican and Italian cuisines.

  2. Using a cast iron pan allows for healthier cooking and uses lesser oil/fat.

  3. Make it gluten free by using a gluten free bread or substituting the bread with 2 tbsp Psyllium husk or flax seeds powder.
