Bread and Butter Pudding recipe

Ingredients

6 Servings
(1 serving = 1 pudding cup)

Mixture A

  • 1L
    fresh milk
  • 6piece
    whole egg
  • 160g
    sugar
  • 1tsp
    vanilla flavour

Mixture B

  • 1
    loaf white loaf bread (cut into cubes)

Mixture C

  • 60g
    raisin
  • 2piece
    green apple (cut into cubes)
  • 50g
    butter flakes

How to make Bread and Butter Pudding

Prepare the Mixture

  1. Stir together fresh milk, whole eggs, sugar, and vanilla flavour in a mixing bowl until well combined.

Assemble the Pudding

  1. Sprinkle the cubed white loaf bread, raisins, and cubed green apples into the ramekin cups.

  2. Pour the milk and egg mixture over the bread and fruit in the ramekin cups.

  3. Place butter flakes on top of each pudding.

Bake the Pudding

  1. Bake at 160°C for 45 minutes using the steam-baked method.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the bread is slightly stale for better absorption of the milk mixture.

  2. You can substitute raisins with other dried fruits like cranberries or apricots for a different flavor.
