  • 1/2kg
    chicken breast
  • 1tbsp
    corn starch
  • 1tsp
    salt
  • 1tsp
    black pepper
  • 1tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1tsp
    paprika
  • 1tsp
    curry powder
  • 2piece
    calamansi
  • 2tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1cup
    water
  • 1/4kg
    all-purpose flour
  • 1tbsp
    vinegar
  • 1clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1cup
    water
  • 1tbsp
    corn starch
  • 2tbsp
    butter
  • sprinkle sesame seeds

How to make Buttered Chicken

  1. Chop and marinate chicken for 30 minutes or overnight.

  2. After marination, deep fry chicken using all-purpose flour.

  3. After frying, place the chicken on a paper towel.

  4. For the sauce, heat the wok and add butter.

  5. Slowly sauté garlic but do not overcook.

  6. Pour water and add the remaining ingredients.

  7. Mix water with cornstarch and add to the sauce to your desired consistency.

  8. Arrange fried chicken on a plate and pour the sauce over it. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
