- 1piecelarge sweet potato
- 2piecelarge potatoes
- 1tbspolive oil
- 1tspCajun seasoning
How to make Sweet Potat-o-Lanterns
Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Wash the potatoes and sweet potato thoroughly, then slice them into 1/4-inch thick rounds.
Using a small knife or toothpick, carefully carve out eyes and mouths on each round to create spooky faces.
Brush each round with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over the rounds, adjusting the amount to your taste.
Arrange the rounds on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. The potatoes should be slightly golden and crispy around the edges.
