A fast weeknight meal, beans and broccoli is served in a delicious, savory, and well-balanced sauce. The rich, satisfying flavor doesn’t taste like it only took 10 minutes!

Ingredients

4 Servings
  • 1tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1piece
    onion, sliced
  • 3clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1lb
    broccoli, chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2tsp
    red chili flakes
  • 3tbsp
    low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2piece
    Baguio beans, cleaned
  • 1/2tsp
    dried thyme

How to make Beans and Broccoli

  1. Place a medium-large skillet on a burner over medium-high heat.

  2. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.

  3. Add Baguio beans and broccoli. Stir and cook for about a minute.

  4. Add red chili flakes and stir to combine.

  5. Add the soy sauce. Cover with the lid and simmer until broccoli is warmed through.

  6. Heat through. Taste for seasoning and adjust as needed.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Feel free to use any type of beans you prefer.

  2. Adjust the amount of red chili flakes to your taste.
