Ingredients
Shrimp and Coating
- 10Large Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2cupbuttermilk
- 1tspgarlic salt
- 1/2tspwhite pepper
- 1/4tspchili powder
- 1/2cupchopped walnuts
- 2tbspwater
- 2tbspbrown sugar
- 1/2cupcornmeal
Sauce
- 1/4cupcondensed milk
- 2tbspkewpie mayo
- 1tbsphoney
How to make Honey Walnut Shrimp Rolls
Preparation
Marinate the shrimp in buttermilk, garlic salt, white pepper, and chili powder for 30 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix the chopped walnuts, water, and brown sugar.
Coat the marinated shrimp in cornmeal.
Sauce Preparation
In a bowl, combine the condensed milk, kewpie mayo, and honey. Mix well.
Tips & Tricks
For extra crunch, you can double coat the shrimp by dipping them in buttermilk and cornmeal twice.
Serve the rolls with the sauce drizzled on top or on the side for dipping.
