  • 4tbsp
    fish sauce (or vegan fish sauce or soy sauce)
  • 1tbsp
    MSG
  • 3tbsp
    flour
  • 200g
    water
  • 1/2cup
    gochugaru

How to make Easy Kimchi

Preparation Steps

  1. Cut the nappa cabbage and coat it with salt and water. Let it sit for 30 minutes.

  2. After 30 minutes, wash the salt off completely and dry the cabbage.

  3. Cut the vegetables.

  4. Blend the onion, garlic, sugar, fish sauce, and MSG together until well combined.

  5. Cook the flour and water on the stove until a paste forms, or microwave it.

  6. Mix the blended onion mixture together with gochugaru.

  7. Add the sliced vegetables and flour paste to the mixture.

  8. Finally, add the nappa cabbage and toss until coated.

  9. Place the kimchi in a jar or container and ferment at room temperature for 3 days.
