- 1bowl boiled Githeri (mixture of beans and maize)
- 1piecegreen pepper, chopped
- 1piecetomato, chopped
- 1cupwater
- 1piecered onion, chopped
- 1tbsppeanut butter
- 1tbspmargarine
- 1pinchsalt

How to make Githeri
Melt the margarine in a saucepan.
Add the onions and fry until soft.
Add the tomatoes and stir well. Cook until fully mixed and soft.
Add peanut butter and mix well.
Pour in half a cup of water and stir thoroughly. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the Githeri and stir, then add the green pepper and stir well.
Add salt to taste and the rest of the water.
Cook for 5 minutes. Serve.
Tips & Tricks
For a richer flavor, you can use butter instead of margarine.
Adjust the amount of peanut butter to your taste preference.
