A simple and hearty sausage and potato dish layered with cheese and baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 1kgpotatoes
- 500gsausages
- 1tspsalt
- 1tbspcooking oil
- 1piecered onion, chopped
- 1tbsptomato paste
- 1cupwater
- 1/2cupchopped parsley
- 1/2tspblack pepper
- 3tbsppowder milk
- 2tbspcornstarch
- 1/2tsporegano
- 1pack sliced cheese
- 1pieceegg
How to make Easy Sausages Dinner
Wash and chop the potatoes into large chunks.
Grill the sausages and then chop them into large slices.
Boil the potatoes and add a little salt.
Put cooking oil in a pan, add onions, fry them lightly, then add the sausages and mix.
Add tomato paste, then add water and stir well.
Add a pinch of salt, parsley, and black pepper. Mix and cook for 5 minutes.
Put boiled potatoes in a bowl, add black pepper, powder milk, cornstarch, and mash everything. Add some water, mash well, add egg, and mix well.
In a serving dish, put the sausage mixture, then layer with mashed potatoes, then on top layer put the cheese slices.
Sprinkle oregano and bake for 20 minutes. Serve!
Tips & Tricks
For extra flavor, you can add a dash of your favorite herbs to the mashed potatoes.
Ensure the sausages are well-cooked before adding them to the mixture.
