- 500gchicken breast
- 1cupwhole wheat breadcrumbs
- 1tbspolive oil
- 1tspgarlic powder
- 1tsponion powder
- 1tsppaprika
- 1tspsalt
- 1tspblack pepper
How to make Weightloss Friendly Chicken Nuggets
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
In a bowl, combine the whole wheat breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Cooking
Coat each piece of chicken with olive oil.
Roll the chicken pieces in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
Place the coated chicken nuggets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Tips & Tricks
For extra crunch, you can spray the nuggets with a little cooking spray before baking.
Serve with a side of your favorite dipping sauce.
