Egg Roll recipe

Ingredients

Dough Ingredients

  • 2cups
    all-purpose flour
  • 100g
    margarine or butter
  • 1tsp
    sugar
  • 1pinch
    salt
  • 1tsp
    nutmeg or any flavor of choice

Filling Ingredients

  • 3tbsp
    powdered milk
  • 1piece
    egg
  • 1cup
    water

How to make Egg Roll

Prepare the Dough

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, margarine or butter, sugar, salt, and nutmeg. Mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  2. Add the powdered milk, egg, and water to the mixture. Knead until a smooth dough forms.

  3. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rest for about 10 minutes.

Assemble the Egg Rolls

  1. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

  2. Cut the rolled dough into squares or rectangles.

  3. Place your desired filling in the center of each piece of dough.

  4. Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges.

Cook the Egg Rolls

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

  2. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown on all sides.

  3. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
