How to make Degue or Burkina
Preparation Steps
Rinse the millet under cold water until the water runs clear.
In a pot, bring the water to a boil.
Add the rinsed millet to the boiling water and cook until the millet is soft.
Once cooked, remove from heat and let it cool.
In a bowl, mix the cooled millet with yogurt, sugar, and salt.
Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Tips & Tricks
For a creamier texture, you can add more yogurt.
Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
