Ingredients
Vegetables and Spices
- 2cupcarrots, grated
- 1tspturmeric
- 1tsppepper
- 1pieceonion, chopped
- 2clovegarlic, minced
- 1pieceginger, minced
- 1piecebell pepper, chopped
- 1piecebay leaf
- 1tspsalt
- 1piecebouillon cube
Proteins
- 200ggizzards, cooked
- 200gsausages, sliced
How to make Carrot Rice
Preparation
Grate the carrots and chop the onions and bell peppers.
Mince the garlic and ginger.
Cooking
In a pot, heat some oil and sauté the onions, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
Add the grated carrots, bell peppers, turmeric, pepper, salt, and the bay leaf.
Stir well and cook for a few minutes.
Add the cooked gizzards and sliced sausages to the pot.
Dissolve the bouillon cube in water and add it to the pot.
Cover and let it simmer until the carrots are tender.
Tips & Tricks
Feel free to add more vegetables or spices according to your taste.
You can substitute gizzards and sausages with your choice of protein.
