Ingredients

4 Servings
(1 serving = 1 portion)

Main Ingredients

  • 1 1/2tbsp
    desi ghee
  • 1tsp
    cumin seeds
  • 1tbsp
    grated ginger
  • 1tsp
    chopped green chillies
  • 1 1/2cup
    fresh tomato puree
  • 1tsp
    salt
  • 1tsp
    degi mirch
  • 300g
    paneer cubes
  • 2tbsp
    fresh cream or malai or cashew paste
  • 1cup
    milk
  • 2tbsp
    chopped coriander

How to make Vrat Wala Cheese Tomato (No Onion No Garlic)

Cooking Instructions

  1. Heat desi ghee in a pan.

  2. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

  3. Add grated ginger and chopped green chillies. Sauté for a minute.

  4. Pour in the fresh tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.

  5. Add salt and degi mirch. Mix well.

  6. Add paneer cubes and stir gently to coat them with the tomato mixture.

  7. Add fresh cream, malai, or cashew paste, and mix well.

  8. Pour in the milk and let it simmer for a few minutes until the gravy thickens.

  9. Garnish with chopped coriander before serving.

Tips & Tricks

  1. For a richer taste, use cashew paste instead of cream.

  2. Adjust the amount of green chillies according to your spice preference.
