Omelette Ingredients

  • 1cup
    chickpea flour
  • 1cup
    water
  • 1piece
    carrot, grated
  • 1piece
    capsicum, chopped
  • 1piece
    potato, boiled and mashed
  • 1piece
    tomato, chopped
  • 1/2cup
    corn
  • 1cup
    spinach, chopped
  • 1tsp
    salt
  • 1/2tsp
    turmeric powder
  • 1/2tsp
    red chili powder

How to make Vegan Omelette

Prepare the Batter

  1. In a bowl, mix chickpea flour and water to form a smooth batter.

  2. Add salt, turmeric powder, and red chili powder to the batter and mix well.

Prepare the Vegetables

  1. Grate the carrot, chop the capsicum, tomato, and spinach, and mash the boiled potato.

  2. Add the vegetables and corn to the batter and mix until well combined.

Cook the Omelette

  1. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.

  2. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it evenly to form a round shape.

  3. Cook for a few minutes until the edges start to lift, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the batter is smooth to avoid lumps in the omelette.

  2. Use a non-stick pan to prevent the omelette from sticking.
