Main Ingredients

  • 1cup
    basmati rice
  • 1tbsp
    ghee or oil
  • 4
    clove
  • 2
    bay leaf
  • 1
    cinnamon stick
  • 1cup
    diced carrots
  • 1/2cup
    diced French beans
  • 1/2cup
    boiled peas
  • 3/4tsp
    salt
  • 1/2cup
    fried onions
  • 12
    fried cashews
  • 1tbsp
    chopped coriander leaves

How to make Veg Pulao Delight (Instant Recipe)

Preparation

  1. Boil and strain the basmati rice.

Cooking

  1. In a pan, add ghee or oil and heat.

  2. Add cloves, bay leaves, and cinnamon stick. Cook for a few seconds.

  3. Add diced carrots, diced French beans, and boiled peas. Add salt.

  4. Cover and cook on low heat for 3 to 4 minutes.

  5. Add boiled rice and mix well.

  6. Add fried onions, fried cashews, and chopped coriander leaves.

  7. Further cover and cook for 2 minutes on low heat.

  8. Serve with raita for a complete meal.
