Sandola ke Laddu recipe

Ingredients

20 Servings
(1 serving = 1 laddu)

Main Ingredients

  • 400g
    dry fruits (almonds, cashews, pistachio, raisins)
  • 400g
    jaggery, pounded
  • 1/2cup
    desi ghee
  • 1tsp
    dry ginger powder
  • 3tsp
    carom seeds (ajwain)

How to make Sandola ke Laddu

Preparation

  1. Heat ghee in a pan.

  2. Add carom seeds and dry ginger powder.

  3. Add all the dry fruits except raisins and cook until crisp and golden on low heat.

  4. Add raisins and cook for a minute.

  5. Add crushed jaggery and cook for a minute or two on medium heat.

  6. Switch off the flame and let it cool until lukewarm.

  7. Mould the mixture into laddus.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Ensure the mixture is not too hot when molding into laddus to avoid burns.

  2. Use fresh and good quality dry fruits for the best taste.
