Punjabi Dhoodh Wale Malpua recipe

Ingredients

12 Servings
(1 serving = 1 puda)
  • 2cups
    refined wheat flour
  • 1cup
    semolina
  • 1cup
    sugar
  • 1tbsp
    coarsely ground fennel seeds
  • 15piece
    black pepper corn
  • 3cups
    milk
  • 1tbsp
    fresh curd
  • 2tbsp
    oil

How to make Punjabi Dhoodh Wale Malpua

  1. Sieve the flours and mix all the ingredients except milk.

  2. Add milk in portions and keep whisking to avoid lumps.

  3. Cover and keep aside for 2 hours.

  4. If the batter thickens, add a little more milk.

  5. Grease the tawa or pan, spread the puda and cook from both sides.

Tips & Tricks

  1. Enjoy with kheer, aam ka achaar, or kadah/halwa.
